  • All Saints' and All Souls' Day

    All Saints Day (November 1st)
This is a solemn holy day in the Catholic Church dedicated to honoring all the saints, known and unknown. This feast acknowledges the countless holy men and women who have lived virtuous lives and now dwell with God in heaven. It is a reminder that we are all called to holiness and can look to the saints as models of faith, hope, and love. Attending Mass on this day is encouraged, as it is a Holy Day of Obligation, inviting the faithful to reflect on the communion of saints and aspire to live in closer union with Christ.

    All Souls Day (November 2nd)
A dedicated day to praying for the faithful departed. On this day, the Church invites us to remember and offer prayers for the souls in purgatory, that they may be purified and attain the fullness of eternal life with God in heaven. It is an expression of our belief in the communion of saints and the power of prayer to assist our loved ones on their journey to salvation. Many Catholics attend Mass, light candles, or visit cemeteries to honor and pray for the deceased.
